I’ll definitely be back in Oradea. I’m so grateful I found this place. The manager was incredibly kind and gave me recommendations for places to eat, as well as tips about a free concert behind the castle walls. I totally fell in love with Oradea, and I can’t wait for the construction work in the city to be finished so I can return and explore more. This was the perfect stay in every way: clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, welcoming and attentive staff, free towels, and hot showers.

Anka, the hostess, is absolutley charming, enormously helpful and speaks excellent English. She provided me with a 24 hour pass for the buses and savings on local attractions. If you prefer not to use public transport it's about a 20 minute walk into the centre and also to the local Flixbus station, but all on the flat and very easy . The hostel is immaculately clean and has an outside seating area.

The kitchen/common room/dining table area is a little cramped with minimal but adequate facilities. An area outside of that with a table and power sockets would be good. Bathroom arrangements are variable depending on the room you are in, but this is really a building design issue.
