Perfect serene and quiet location; surrounded by green mountains right at the river bank. Traditionally decorated, thoughtfully designed for family union and well furnished rooms. Hot water; good WiFi; great cuisine; clean and well-planned facility; limited accommodation.

Sounds like an overstatement, but literally nothing we felt could have been better.

Location. My brother was staying at Marco Polo resort and this place was at a walking distance from there

Too many stairs and kind of confusing structure

Excellent location, very well designed into a quiet comfortable facility, specially the restaurant food options are out of this world specially in the locality. Heating system as well warm water 24*7 are 5 star.

I stayed at Walnut Riverside Resort in the Queen Suite, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and the heated mattress made the stay even more cozy, especially in the cool weather. The washroom was clean and having 24/7 hot water was truly a blessing. The resort itself is beautiful, surrounded by peaceful hill views, which made the whole experience very relaxing. We visited during Ramadan, and although the kitchen was closed and it was informed to us aswell. However the staff went out of their way to arrange food for us. Their hospitality and willingness to help really stood out. Overall, it was a great stay. The place is calm, well maintained, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature. I would definitely recommend Walnut Riverside Resort and would love to visit again.

I recently stayed at Walnut Riverside Resort in the Queen Suite, and the experience was truly wonderful. The location of the resort is absolutely breathtaking, with the Kunhar River flowing right in front and beautiful snow-capped mountains all around. The sound of the river created such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere — it really felt like nature itself was singing. Even though I visited during Ramadan, the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was comfortable for us. They arranged Sehri and Iftar on time, and the service was very cooperative and respectful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made the trip even more special. Even though the temperatures were near zero we had 24/7 hot water and An electric heated mattress to keep us cozy and warm. The Queen Suite was clean, comfortable, and had a great view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Waking up to the sight of the mountains and the sound of the river was an unforgettable experience. Plus we had a traditional jhoola right in our suite. Overall, it was a serene, beautiful, and memorable trip. I would definitely recommend Walnut Riverside Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful stay close to nature. A perfect 10/10 from me, and I would love to visit again.

Nothing really. But if you were to nitpick then I would have loved if the in house dining (Cafe De Zar) would have been operational in Ramadan.

Extremely comfortable bed, piping hot water, excellent food. This hotel is newly built and independently owned, fusing both local and Western influences. Management very open to suggestions for improvement as the business picks up speed - indeed they actively solicited them. Wish them every success!

Nothing I disliked - no issues other than normal ones for a very new hotel (eg unavailability of certain items on menu) that had already been identified and were being remedied by management.
