Residence il Poggiolino

It is a very beautiful place, unfortunately we were not able to use the pool due to the winter season. The contact was always nice, helpful and kind to children. We liked the big bathroom, very good with small kids.

The living area downstairs beneath the apartment door is not very cosy. Unfortunately, the breakfast was quite monotonous, as there was almost the same thing everyday. Especially as a family with small kids we would have liked more variety and also some fresh vitamins. There was no basic equipment in the kitchen with oil, salt, pepper, tea, so we had to buy everything new. Some walls could use new paint. In addition, the rooms were poorly soundproofed: When the kids sleep upstairs, you should not clatter with dishes or take a shower. One night the kids woke up due to the noise in the apartment next door (crying baby and New Years Eve celebrations).

Such an amazing place! I came very late, but I was amazed in the morning. And will definitely be back one day. And I loved the room and the view.

Well the only cons is my short stay. I would love to enjoy it longer.

This place is very beautiful with spacious generous appartments and a stunning swimming pool with a mountain view. It's a family-run hotel, and they invite all guests to a Pizza Party once a week, which was a lot of fun. And delicious. The communication was great, Simonetta is very kind and always ready to help. I reccommend!

The accommodation itself was nice, just as seen on the pictures. It is located in a quiet village near Florence. The facilities such as the pool and barbecue area are well maintained and nice to use. But the highlight of our trip was our hostess Simonetta. Truly a lovely person from pre-arrival to our departure. She, and the whole family who owns the residences, were such nice people and made us feel very welcome during our 1-week stay. We highly recommend this property for people who want to explore Tuscany whilst staying in a quiet area.
