The location was good, the room was pretty and clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff was the kindest I ever had in a hostel!!

The hotel located in serene place, it feels like in the middle of the jungle. Comfortable rooms, hot water 24/7. The stuff is really welcoming and hospitable.

Very clean and quiet place with charming staff

Beautiful scenery with a river surrounding the bungalows. Large appartment (no kitchen though only sink) and quite clean. You feel like sleeping in the forest with the sounds of birds and frogs and so many other animals! Theres even a varan roaming in the garden. Breakfast is huge but only local (rice and curry and roti). Staff is adorable although they don't really speak English but you can order anything with the hotel manager through whatsapp. They have a restaurant that delivers food upon ordering.

Watch out for the dogs at night as they can get quite angry at guests or just ask the staff to keep them inside or chained at night

I really love the place! The host took care of me so much, helped with everything. When I needed I was given breakfasts and lunches, room cleaning, good wi fi - everything. And everybody here were so polite and friendly. I stayed many places in Unawatuna, but this one is my beloved! I will definitely come back. And by the way the area around is so beautiful: amazing nature, animals and birds. Thanks for everything!

Everything is excellent.

Personal attention of the owner was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. V hospitable and flexible. He did everything possible to make our stay a success. Any need we had was quickly and efficiently met.

There was nothing we didnt like. We will def go again and for longer

It was just a beautiful location. I work remotely and had a concern about wifi and they fixed it immediately and then I had no issues. They gave a nice welcome drink too!
