Isabella Paxos Holidays

Villa Isabella exceeded our expectations! It was very private, hidden away amongst olive trees and rhododendrons. Swimming pool was great and the pool area was spacious, trees provided lots of pleasant shade. Location in Magazia village was spot on, close to supermarket, bars and tavernas.

Bed mattress could have been a touch softer. Also there was no bbq tools provided (proper tongs, cleaning brush etc)

Being October the pool was too cold for us to swim in. Would be great in peak summer sun.

Quiet area, surrounded by nature, easy to get everywhere, facilities all in good condition and very comfortable.

Surpassed our expectations! The villa itself is very small but has all you need as a family if you’re out and about a lot as we were. The outdoor area and pool are really spacious with some good seating areas. The umbrella was broken upon arrival but could still function somewhat to provide shade when needed. The kitchen was tiny but functional with a good sized fridge, induction hob, oven, nespresso machine, kettle and toastie maker. There is no toaster but you can use the oven. There is a supermarket, pharmacy, tavernas and bakery nearby in Magazia and also in Lakka and loggos. We really enjoyed exploring Paxos and took boats out from loggos on a couple of days which I highly recommend. We also had to visit the medical centre in Magazia on 2 occasions for ear infections and they were very helpful, prompt and inexpensive. We were pleasantly surprised to have two cleaning visits during our 6 day stay including towel and sheet changes and emptying of bins from a lovely cleaner. A great little spot to have found. Highly recommend!

I think if you were planning to spend more time there then you would not want to be more than 4 people as there is just one bathroom and very small internal living space but lots of outdoor space and seating. You will need a car for sure and some confidence in driving as it’s quite a blind turn into and out of the property and the driving on Paxos generally needs confidence and experience. There is little to no recycling available that we could see which is a shame given you need bottled water. The water pressure can sometimes be very poor but other times perfectly fine.

This is a very lovely and secluded villa. Very quiet at night and a perfect spot for a couple for a week or two. Pretty good cooking facilities too. Gaios has an excellent fishmongers so we were able to eat in regularly, sampling the very best local fayre, squid, bass, prawns and sardines, yum.

The pool area was lovely with the surrounding gardens, the villa had everything needed, a bottle of wine on arrival! All the essentials you need, cleaners came 3 times in the week we were there, they were great as was Angela who looked after us. Magazia is not far away with some lovely restaurants and the eco mart that sold everything you needed. Local pharmacy too.

The villa was absolutely fantastic for our honeymoon - such beautiful gardens and pool area and so secluded, with amazing views, it was like being surrounded by nature. As quiet and peaceful as it was though, the location was perfect - a lovely 5 minute walk up the road to a great mini market, cracking bakery, gorgeous tavernas with brilliant staff and great food. Loggos and Lakka are only 45 minutes walk away, and Gaios about an hour. The villa itself was lovely as well - stocked with everything you'd need, clean, working appliances etc. The whole experience was just exceptional.
