Kelingking Beach Villas

Der Support über Booking war wirklich gut. Wir wurden gut informiert und unterstützt für die Speedboot-Transfers von Bali und nach Lombok.

Im Zimmer waren immer wieder kleine Tierchen, weil die Türen nicht dicht waren nach außen. So waren mehrere Geckos im Zimmer, welche man nachts extrem laut hörte und auch größere Spinnen zum Teil. Generell war die Unterkunft nicht sauber (schmutzige Bettwäsche und Handtücher). Die Luft im Bad war extrem feucht permanent, weil es kein richtiges Fenster gab). Hinter dem WC stand das Wasser während dem ganzen Aufenthalt.

Die Lage ist super! Die Unterkunft befindet sich nur wenige Minuten vom Kelingking Beach entfernt. Da der Strand sehr überlaufen ist, bietet es sich total am Morgen von der Unterkunft zum Strand zu gehen und die atemberaubende Atmosphäre alleine/mit wenigen Touristen zu genießen. Der Pool ist ebenso super. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend.

Hotel is close to Kelinking beach. The room was nice and with comfortable bed.

Breakfast - 30 min after we ordered breakfast from their meny, we were asked again what we wanted to eat. She served 2 people during 30 min. Probably no problem for a slow morning but we had to leave to our activities on the island.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, really enjoyed the stay and how easy it was to go to the main tourist attraction, kelingking beach.

We liked how close it was to the viewpoint at Kelingking beach, and we did actually do the walk all the was down (about an hour) and up again ( maybe 45 minutes) so staying so close was lovely to be able to go shower because I was sweating so much after that! We also enjoyed the sunset view (it was full moom, so it was extra beautiful!) But take note that the restaurants in the area are limited and do close early so make sure you get food early enough. The food at the villa wasn't great, the farmer warung at the viewpoint was good. Our rooms were not serviced for the two days we were there, but i think that was maybe because we locked the rooms when we went out. We hired scooters at the Villa and went to Crystal Bay for the day, we really enjoyed that, but it was a 45 minute drive each way and quite hair-raising, I don't think it would have been a good idea if my husband and son were not both very competent on a motorbike. Check the brakes before you leave, both scooters could have done with new pads soon.

On the other hand, the Villa is about an hour from the harbor and also 45 minutes or so if you want to visit the broken beach/angel Billabong area (which i actually didn't enjoy, its a really bumpy drive and lots to tourists jostling for space to take the "perfect shot" - we couldn't get anywhere near the beach, its basically a lookout spot and although very beautiful, I found it crowded and too busy, maybe its just the season, we were there 11 July. So if you stay at Kelingking villas, you need to budget about Rs350K taxi to the villas and another Rs350K back to the harbor, or of you include a trip past broken beach on the way to the harbor, its Rs500K
