Bogar Palace Kodaikanal

The location is fantastic and the rooms are clean and Nice. Bed linens are excellent. All the rooms have a balcony and the view is fantastic (right side valley view is preferred). Hospitality is very good and getting into the hotel itself is adventure. Car owners should have some knowledge on deep hill station driving. Place looks as seen in the photos. Manager Sundar is all in all. He is local and knows about the area around Kodaikanal very well. He guided us to some non-crowded places to avoid traffic during the long weekend.

Access to location is tricky. But the owner Armstrong sir and manager Sundar followed up regularly and guided us until we reached the hotel. Food varieties are limited and basic. But whatever they provide is nice and the feel of home made taste. Morning time getting hot water for the family is challenging. When we spoke with management, it seemed like a low voltage issue across Kodai during morning hours. But the water quality and purity is good.

Calm and beautiful place, just outside the 'city'. Spacious and clean rooms, with balcony. Friendly and helpful staff. Tasty food at affordable prices.

Road to this place is steep and narrow. Though it is concrete paved almost all the way but broken at places. No shops/hotels near by

The serene location, very clean place, very good courteous service, great food (in house kitchen) and peaceful

It's about 3kms from the city centre. A bit of tricky terrain to reach this place, new drivers be a little cautious

The location and the hospitality was great. Especially the care taken by the manager and arumugam was excellent. And the food preparation by Sathya was always tasty and courteous. A nice location to spend your leisure time.

There could be more facilities like a play area for kids, a walking path outside the resort, TT board, etc.,

Everything is very good about the hotel.The hotel is situated in the lap of the nature and surrounded by beautiful hill views. In the morning you can hear the bird sounds which you ll not get in the cities. The behavior of the staff is very good. They have provided a the necessary facilities immediately. If you r a nature lover they this is a definite choice for you. You ll get to know the exact meaning of nature here. The quality of food is very good at a reasonable price. The route to the hotel will let you know what actually a hill station is. And be sure you are going with a driver or you are having good driving skill.😇 Fabulous choice. The wifi range is not adequate and though the food is good you ll not get the variety. But overall a fabulous experience.
