Tabist Hotel Rakuserina

We stayed here on the way of our trip because only this hotel was available at that night. Everywhere was clean. We came a little later, but called the staff and they waited for us. The futons were wonderful, soft and hard enough. Perfect for our back. Very big bath tub to take a bath. The hotel itself lookes a little old, but no smell and bugs. Cannot say anything about the location, because in the early morning we left the hotel and continue our trip.

Room was quite comfortable, with the bath/shower being much bigger than expected. The other facilities in the room were nice, such as the fridge and microwave, much bigger room than expected, reminding of a room in a ryokan. The curtains also provide sufficient darkness to sleep comfortably even after the sun rises. Was also fairly clean, with seating space in the lobby. Parking was also decent.

We stayed on New Year's Eve, checking out on New Year's. That may have explained the lack of any staff to greet us or give us our keys. We had to pick it up from the front counter, where our room key had a post-it note with our name on it. The soundproofing between the shower/bath and the bedroom is not good. So if you want to fill up the bathtub while your friend sleeps, it is a bad idea, it will disturb your friend's sleep. There is a vending machine in the lobby but it is expensive. ¥140 for a can of coke. Because there was no staff (the other Tabist hotel in the area where another friend stayed had front-desk staff however), the lobby was quite cold, but they left the remote control to use the heater if needed. Nearest convenience store is almost 1km away, not much to walk around for, you'll have to drive.
