Staff are super friendly and helpful

WiFi was not working. I think that is a general problem of the area due to poor reception. Staff tried their best to rectify it

We made a last minute reservation at foresta resort, and honestly i don’t regret our detour at all, the rooms were clean and we had the cutest view from our room, its a bit off road but close enough to everything, the breakfast was delicious, you just got to love the nature vibes and tranquility. Sumeeth was really kind and welcoming

Foresta at Sigiriya is quite retreat amidst a miyawaki garden, very serene that you could hear a lot of bird sounds in the early morning and I enjoyed my yoga at the pool side, one can also see the sigiriya rock fort far away from the property. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Sumit and the his. The architecture design of the restaurant and reception is commendable with an open space into the nature.... very inviting. The breakfast was very sumptuous and freshly prepared. We could do a morning session day tour to Polonnaruwa and a sunset visit and hike to Sigiriya Rock fort though it was a bit hectic in one day. A special note that the gardener lady always greeted and smiled at everyone, at the same time she was happy doing her gardening!

The family room that we stayed was very spacious only a minor concern was that the shower head needed some attention as it made the entire bath room floor into a mess, also the water pressure in the health faucets were too high. The pre-shower area at the pool also need some daily attention. However these petty issues did not bother our stay much as I met the owner of the property during our stay ... they explained that the room is going for a renovation soon! Good Luck!

Food could have had more variety

Sehr schöne große saubere Zimmer, super freundliches Personal und toller Pool. Es liegt etwas außerhalb, man kann aber per Pick-Me etc. gut jemanden finden der einen transportiert. Vor Ort gibt es einen Restaurant, in dem man Mittags wie abends zu ganz normalen Preisen gut essen kann :) Man wird den ein oder anderen Frosch oder Gekko in seinem Zimmer finden, aber das gehört bei so einer wunderschönen Lage dazu und ist auch nicht schlimm :)

Really lovely and accommodating staff. Very nice breakfast and dinner. Property is beautiful and very well managed.
