DEThis home is in such a beautiful setting! We really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds were very comfortable. There were some toys and books in one bedroom which my children loved. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. There is no sofa/sitting area other than the dining table with chairs and two additional chairs in the corners. For us it wasn't a problem but some people may wish to have comfy seating. There was plenty of space for the children to run around outside and explore. We visited the private beach twice during our stay and the walk down was lovely. We enjoyed watching the waves and playing the in the sand with the kids. One evening a horse walked up the drive and greeted us, then jumped the fence and joined the rest of the horses again. This was also definetly a highlight for us! We visited a hotel down the road for dinner as well as a nearby bakery, both were delicious. Other than that there are not many options around for restaurants outside of Vik, especially later in the vening. Of course in Vik there are some options as well as a grocery store to get what you need.
LTEverything - a cozy and warm house, surrounded by nature and horses. It was very was warm inside with heated floors, so the clothes were always dry after a day of exploring. Close to the road, near many sightseeing spots (reachable by car). Very nice owner. Easy self check-in/-out.

CHSehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Farmhouse in der Nähe von wichtigen Attraktionen. Nur ca. 30min von Vik entfernt. Ein späterer Check-Out war kein Problem. Das Badezimmer ist ein Traum und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die nahe Umgebung ist sehr ruhig.
Die Betten sind etwas zu weich, aber das ist Geschmackssache.
USEasily the best place we stayed during our 10 day trip to Iceland. Walk through a meadow to the beach. Watch horses through the kitchen window. Very quiet and peaceful. A great place to stay and explore the south coast.

DEVery cute and well renovated farmhouse. Located away from the street thus quiet but easy to access. Beach is 20 minutes away (walking distance)
All good, maybe adding a sieve and some muesli bowls would be nice but in general well equipped :)
ITWe spent 3 unforgettable days in this wonderful house. It is a house renovated with great care and beautiful details. All the rooms are beautiful and have large windows from which you can see an amazing landscape, we also saw the Northern Lights :-) The location was perfect for us, isolated but easily accessible. Beautiful
