Guests highly rate the great activities for kids and frequently praise the good location.
USIf you have school age children or younger, it is great the number of free activities they have for the kids. Also nice to be able to grill and have a wood fire. These were big pluses when tired at the end of the day
The cabin itself was run down. The TV didn't work on either day we were there, even though we reported it. A neighbor told us not to bother because the picture was so fuzzy. The biggest problem is the site on Booking.com didn't mention that there are no linens provided. If we had known, we could have packed linens. We didn't find out until we were in Kentucky the day before our stay. They did graciously provide linens when I complained ("for this time") but the towels were ratty. Since you are required to wash dishes, I wondered if they sterilize them or we are dependent upon the prior traveler. I don't know the answer
