Kings River Reflections

This without doubts, is one of my best B&B experience ever and I have lived in 5 countries.. The hosts are such a wonderful couple, I cannot say enough good things about them, they made us feel at home. Their attention to detail is unbeatable. Their home is just an incredible experience by itself. Each room has a theme: the wild west room, the African room, the hummingbird room, etc. the woodwork and craftsmanship around the house is just amazing. We'll repeat for sure, if you land in Fresno and go to the National parks, spend at least a night at this wonderful home with this great hosts, you won't regret it, forget about those boring hotels with no character. Even think about spending a week and use Kings River Reflections as your base. Summarizing, a 10 out of 10 memorable experience with an incredible value. BTW, the Booking photos don't do justice to how magnificent and beautiful the house is.

the stay at Kings River Reflections is some kind of unique. The lovely hosts have a warm welcome. The rooms have different themes. The shared bathroom (one for two rooms) is absolutely no problem. The bathrooms are big and also well designed. It’s situated a little bit outside of Fresno therefore it’s closer to Sequoia NP/Kings Canyon NP. Although the rooms are in a private house you have good hotel atmosphere. Having breakfast in the morning in the great kitchen living area is amazing. The breakfast which is home made is fresh and tasty. We had great talks at the breakfast table. You really feel like a welcome guest. The evening can be enjoyed on a nice porch with a view in the nice garden.

2 weeks of travelling around the US, and Mr and Mrs Wood have been the bestest hosts ever! Their house is beautiful, the room and bathroom assigned to us were big, clean and with everything one could ask (and imagine!). If you're travelling like us around California, stop here! It's a good travel distance from Yosemite and the sequoia&King's canyon national Parks. Highly recommend! Thanks again for sharing your home with us Xx

Unfortunately, we were only able to stay for a night, as we were travelling on a very tight schedule. That's our only regret.

The location: Perfect. The house: Perfect. The hosts: Perfect. The rooms: Perfect. The breakfast: Perfect. Everything else: Perfect. We came upon this by chance because we had to change our route due to the US highway 1 closure. But stumbling upon this felt like finding water in the desert. Tim has built a fantastic house and Teresa has made it an amazing home. She is truly the silent strength behind it all. They raised their kids in this amazing place first and now weary travelers from around the world can feel at home here. Which you do from the moment you are welcomed inside. If we had to move to the USA for some reason we'd want to live here. Lana and Arjen

Tim & Teresa maken je verblijf nog beter dan het al was. Je krijgt een leuke kamer in een prachtig huis, maar het is hun gastvrijheid die je echt thuis doet voelen. Alles was in orde, van comfort tot hygiëne en faciliteiten. Je kon er tv kijken, poolen, genieten van hun tuin en terras met schommel en zij zorgden voor versgebakken koekjes en een geweldig ontbijt. Dit was het beste verblijf dat we tijdens onze roadtrip in de VS gehad hebben. Wij zouden dit iedereen ten zeerste aanraden.

The host was very considerate and accommodating

We stayed at Tim and Teresa’s place for one night during a roadtrip, but we really wished our stay was longer. We arrived at the property a bit late, and Teresa and her lovely dog Puck welcomed us with extreme kindness and home backed cookies (thank you Tim!) and fresh strawberries. The house was lovely, with a splendid view of the river and since we were the only guests that night, we were given a bigger room with an en-suite bathroom. The room was big and comfortable, there was WiFi, toiletries and everything necessary. We were also given coffee and cookies for the road in the morning. We really recommend Kings River Reflections and we wish Teresa and Tim all the best! Thanks again!
