GBIt was quirky, no frills,functional, practical, and relaxing. The fresh, sweet peas in a jug was a nice touch. The fresh eggs was also lush, the beds was comfy. Nice touch with the electric blanket. The host was helpful and served up delicious cooked breakfast in the morning..
To be honest the host was close by if you needed anything, so we didn't have no issues I must point out that if your looking for luxury it's not for you, but if your looking for back to nature and quirkness,campfires bq,s it's fun..
AUThe bed was reasonably comfortable, the fire heated the room quickly.
This accommodation is filthy! While we knew that it would rugged and very rural, we never expected to find an oven that looked like it had not been cleaned for months. There were cupboards scattered around the room that when you opened them contained electrical items that were covered with cobwebs and what could only be described as filth! The door to the room did not shut and we were unable to lock it. The sink was corroded and leftover items were scattered around on the draining board. The appearance of the outside of the property was untidy and littered with rubbish. We were very unhappy with this accommodation, and felt like asking for our money back, but couldn't be bothered as all we wanted to do was get out of the place!
GBIt did not state that it was a sawdust toilet and not plummed in. The horse box was locked by a bolt from the outside and was not lockable from the inside. There were exposed wires throughout the horse box and dirt in each cupboard. It wasn't well cleaned. We were unable to stay.

GBLoved how unique this place was, very much home from home for us. Loved the forest school feeling, great place for older kids & loved all the animals being there too.
