DalsSel farm Guesthouse

It sits on an old horse farm that since Covid has become a guest house. It was comfortable but a few things were missing. The breakfast buffet depicted in the photos never appeared. It would have been nice to have a bath mat in the shower as is shares the same space as the toilet and the floor doesn’t drain well. It’s very slippery. We were greeted upon our arrival by only a sheepdog but she was wonderful. The room was comfortable and spacious. We left the outside door open and the farm cat joined us for the evening. The place is very close to two of the best waterfalls in Iceland - one about a 7 minute drive and the other about 30 minutes away but over some rough roads. There are no restaurants close so bring your own dinner or breakfast foods. It’s a little over priced for what it is but we still liked it.

Very spartan accommodation for the price charged. Bathroom can be a little dangerous.

La struttura e la stanza sono grandi e spaziose, con una grande area comune, e immerse nella natura.

Purtroppo, la struttura è un po’ abbandonata. Nel bagno della nostra stanza era presente muffa sul muro. Non è presente nessuna tenda per la doccia nè alcunché per pulire/asciugare. Si parla di cucina accessoriata, tuttavia manca sia un forno che un fornello (c’è solo il microonde). La cucina era anche piuttosto sporca e disordinata.

Great location near the ring road. Just what we needed for a family room. Andres and his.son were very welcoming and helped us find a resolution to our car issue by discussing it on the phone in icelandic- much appreciated.

A surprising structure in the middle of the field but near many attractions. On the way from the Golden circle and nearby 2 very nice waterfalls. The structure is very well equipped and you can use the common kitchen that we enjoyed a lot. A very kind owner welcomed us and with patience explained a lot of curiosities around the area, volcanos, places and other interesting facts of Iceland Manage to see also som weak aurora despite the bad weather

Struttura accogliente, strategica per vedere l’aurora. Ragazzo molto disponibile, ci é venuto a chiamare quando é uscita l’aurora.
