Melissafarm Guest House

The guesthouse was a dream come true. So peaceful and beautiful. I slept very well and enjoyed being there. I spent quite a bit of time on the porch area overlooking the area below. I hope to come back and stay here again.

We wanted to stay in an apartment outside of the city in a more rural environment, so we found Melissafarm Guest House. The room fulfilled our wish. We had a great stay, the room was very clean, the terrace was nice, and we loved to find out that the owners also produce their own honey, tea, and beauty products (and much more). We bought some things to bring to our friends and family back home. Overall, we had a great stay.

Melissafarm Guest House is located away from the hustle and bustle of Epidaurus, hidden in between orange groves, up on a hill covered in olive trees. The view from there is amazing and the show of the sky at night makes it even more beautiful. The apartment/ studio looks exactly like the photos in the presentation but what surprised us pleasantly was the fact that it was the only studio on the location to be rented. There were no other people around apart from the hosts. It was great for us because we were looking for some quiet time and relaxation but never aspired to something like this! The hosts are incredible, pleasant, hardworking people who tried to accommodate and help us in all ways possible. At arrival, we were greeted with all sorts of goodies of such great taste, and throughout our stay they tried to answer all our questions, offering directions and advice. They are as beautiful people as the place they live in! We will surely come back!!!

We wish we only had a longer holiday!

We had a choice of a Greek or Espresso, Greek biscuits topped with exceptional homemade plum jelly by Aggeliki Oikonomou (www.gliko-ousia.gr) in a beautiful hand-crafted glass jar. It was by far the best jelly I had taste ever. I can't find words to describe the taste the aroma and the quality of their own Melissa farm bee thyme honey. We got their business card and if you go to(info@melissafarm.gr) you'll find a verity of different kind of honey, herbs natural soaps great gift boxes you can order from their e shop or from a list of shops which carry their products. We loved the place the owner Katerina and Manos were very kind and friendly. Katerina called me the night before our arrival and gave us all the info we needed. it was so peaceful the scenery a beautiful mix of mountain, farms and sea it was so relaxing. In only five minutes you can get to the magical town of Ancient Epidaurus with a gorgeous marina and beautiful restaurants and tavernas with home recipes and fresh fishes. Since we like seafood we dinned in Taverna Kymata on Friday and Taverna Mouragio on Saturday. We loved both, excellent food and service. It was a refreshing weekend and we looking forward with my wife to visit again and experience more things and places and ask Katerina and Mano to give us a tour at the Melissa farm to see first hand the production and the packaging of their honey . We recommend Melissa farm guest house to all of you who are looking for some quite, relaxing , peaceful time in a unique place which blends the old and modern in the best way!!! Yannis and Lilia S. I wish was Summer so we can enjoy the sea..

We were looking for a peaceful retreat from the city for a couple of days, and Melissafarm was perfect. The house is located on the hillside with beautiful views and surrounded by carefully grown greenery!

Beautiful house, clean, cute with great views and very conventient location for the town, the beach and the ancient theatre of Epidavros. The hosts are so hospitable and great, they make you feel so welcome and lucky to be there. Would recommend it and will go back for sure.

Amazing views. Lovely host. Fantastic provisions (honey was incredible!). As we had some running kit to hand wash, was happy to make use of clothes drying rack. Pristine clean and comfortable.

Nothing. However, it’s worth noting that a walk to local tavernas is (5 mins) along a semi-main road. Some might be uncomfortable with this. (If you have a driver or want to use local taxi, then this is a non issue). Also, the driveway is steep and may be a challenge for some cars/drivers. None of these detracted from our wonderful stay.

One of the best experiences in Greece ever. Very beautiful, quiet house, perfect for couples, with fantastic sea view from one side and endless orange trees from another side. Our host Katerina is a very warm and intelligent person. She left for us honey, jam, tea from her farm, everything were very delicious and useful for the breakfast. Highly recommend!
