Valores Resort Ahangama

Absolutely Perfect Stay at Valores Resort Ahangama! I had an amazing five-night stay at Valores Resort Ahangama, and I can’t recommend it enough! Tucked away on a quiet street, this newly built property is modern, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how well-designed and well-maintained everything was. The room was huge, with excellent natural light during the day and multiple lighting options for the evening. The ventilators and air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the space cool and dry, even in the Sri Lankan humidity. The shower unit was ultra-modern, with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water—a real treat after a long day at the beach! There was ample storage space, making it easy to stay organized, with extra room for bags and backpacks. I also loved the common seating area and the rooftop terrace, which was a great place to relax. The shared refrigerator was super handy for keeping drinks and snacks chilled. Plus, the location is fantastic—just a short distance from Kabalana Beach, which is perfect for surfing and sunsets. Above all, the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. Their warm hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Valores Resort to anyone visiting Ahangama!

I liked everything.

Much better than I expected! Very cozy quiet place. 10 minutes walk to the beach, along the way there are many good cafes. The owners are a wonderful family, will help in any situation, answer any question. The room is large, very powerful air conditioning, there is a stove for cooking, everything is very clean. In the common hall there is a recreation area with ottomans, a large shared refrigerator, a large terrace on the second floor. Perfect place, 11/10!

Valores resort so beautiful and very clean. The room was huge and had great amenities. The host really made us feel welcome and offered us tea every day which was such a nice touch! He also organized a taxi to the airport upon ending our trip which was very convenient and helpful. The location is down a really quiet street and about 10 minutes walk to the beach and some cute boutique restaurants and clubs.

The property was really great and I couldn't fault it one bit.

We loved everything about our stay here! The host and his family (who live separately downstairs) were lovely. They were so helpful to us & even invited us round for dinner one evening where they cooked a delicious meal for us. The location of the villa is amazing. It’s about 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach, 5 minutes walk to local restaurants & about 15-20 minutes walk from the town centre. It’s set back from the main road so that it’s really quiet, peaceful and has very tropical surroundings. The villa is really spacious, the room is huge & the shower is really powerful. The aircon works perfectly & there’s also a fan you can use. The WiFi was also really good. We loved it so much that we extended our stay twice as we didn’t want to leave! If you are thinking of staying in Ahangama I would 100% recommend staying here!

After a warm welcome of the family they showed me the (brand new) spacious room, which had all facilities you require for a comfortable stay. Peaceful environment and walking distance to the beach.
