The staff were amazing!! So friendly and the food was delicious. Sadly didn’t see much on our river cruises but that wasn’t for lack of trying! No aircon but the fan was powerful enough as long as your windows were open which have a bug screen. Good wifi in rooms and communal area.

Only issue for me was the pillows were rock solid but I still slept ok!!

Sehr schön im Dschungel gelegen. Die Verpflegung war gut. Die Bootsafaris waren sehr schön und man konnte viele Tiere in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung beobachten. Die big Five von Borneo habe ich sehen können. Marc ist ein toller Guide! Auf jeden Fall würde ich am Kinabatangan nur diese Lodge buchen.

Leider hat am Abend eine Party stattgefunden mit lautem rumgegröle und Karaoke singen in einer unglaublichen Lautstärke bis in die Morgenstunden. Da sollte man schon auf die Gäste Rücksicht nehmen, schließlich kommt man in den Dschungel um die Ruhe zu genießen und die Dschungelgeräusche zu hören. Es war eher wie in einer Diskothek und an Schlaf war gar nicht zu denken. Da es sich an den anderen Abenden nicht wiederholt hat,ist es für mich dann in Ordnung gewesen.

Absolutely wonderful stay. The location is close to river bank, in the jungle, quiet and peaceful. Our guide Kai was very attentive and knowledgeable, I really enjoyed every boat trip with him. All staff is very friendly, and food was plentiful and always yummy. My spacious bedroom had a fan, what was effective and quiet. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for adventure on Kinabatangan river.
