Constantia View Apartments- Luxury Self Catering

In the booking process it appeared that all apartments had views. Howwever there is one apartment, Moroccan, that is a sort of basemnet apartment. It says there are shared pool and facilities but the facilities are effectively part of the upstairs apartments. During our stay, the two upstairs apartments, with the view and the pool, were occupied by groups and it woul dhave been awkward for us to access these "shared" facilities. But the apartment itself was nice and in a great spot. But our Constantia View Apartment had a view of a car park, with people walking past regularly.

Lovely room, beautifully styled and decorated! Very spacious, comfortable and kitted-out with everything and more you could possibly need in a holiday apartment. The hosts and staff are very friendly and helpful. We booked very last minute, but Lee-Ann contacted us almost immediately with details. Very happy we stayed there for the last few days of our honeymoon!

Lovely quiet location overlooking vineyards. Apartment was very nicely decorated, each apartment has a different theme, ours was Parisian, Grand Piano, but my favourite was a wooden Tin Tin about 1.5 in height. Kitchen was well equipped for a self catering apartment with all the essentials. Tidy little pool and BBQ area, which unfortunately weather and time wise we didn’t take advantage of.

No negative comments, sorry.

Fantastic views, comfortably appointed and well equipped apartment. Secure parking. Short drive to much that Cape Town had to offer.

Sometimes the hot water was a bit tricky and your shower would start blasting cold instead of hot water (probably more our error not being used to the gas system used than the property’s fault!)

the unit gives very "demure/mindful vibes". It looks very nice/different. kind of Kitch design. the unit had everything we needed. they provided tea, coffee, milk, towels, toiletries. Host is very available and accommodating. towels provided. stove and oven as well as kettle and toaster. dishwashing liquid and cloth provided. Good Tv channel options, good wifi.

the blankets were not warm, they were open knitted, not appropriate for the weather. they also did not fit king size beds from top to bottom and sides. Bathroom doors don't close fully, there's open slits on the sides. no privacy from the entrance, only a curtain voil. very small unit for 6 people. no aircons in the ice-cold bedrooms. 1 aircon in the living area with a fireplace. i didn't like the gas geyser which makes water warm but not hot, i didn't like the gas kettle, takes too long compared to an electric one. I didn't like that there were no instructions written up by the fireplace, I do not enjoy having to call the host for everything. overall, we were cold and uncomfortable. No ramp nor help to carry bags up and down the staircase to the room. The cleaner just opened up the front door without knocking on check out- very invasive. very narrow parking. no shade to walk under to and from the room, you have to walk in the rain.

The view and location were amazing, great service and very helpful.

Shower's hot water was a bit more to the cold side and pressure a bit low. Other than that, was a great stay and cannot complain.
