Arolithos Traditional Village Hotel

Loved this place. Great location close to heraklion but also rural. The old village style of the hotel felt authentic even though it's not, the outside restaurant seating area with views under the trees was stunning.Great food. Most of all I loved the fact that we were made to feel very welcome, Chris and Georges in the restaurant were particularly attentive, chatting to us and answering all our questions. Oh and not forgetting the cats, dog, goats and parrot.

Rhe pool had green algae in. Which is a shame as I the pool and sunbed area is lovely. Maybe because it was October the pool wasn't working? The bathroom is very outdated and needs replacing modernization. But the rooms were cleaned every day. I asked for a room that doesn't have many steps and we didn't get the room but the balcony was massive. There are lots of steps.

Arolithos Traditional Village Hotel was our favourite accommodation during our travels in Greece! It's a fantastic way to get an authentic Greek experience on Crete. The staff were incredible and the Taverna has the best food!!

Beautuful, traditional decor in rooms and lovely little village. Really makes you feel in history Food was delicious✅ Pool spotless ✅ rooms comfortable ✅ great shop on site great value ✅ All the staff are so friendly and helpful! Especially George who works in the evenings 10/10 thank you Arolithos adam

Stunning location & setting with stunning mountain views, super friendly & helpful staff, excellent breakfast & evening menu, nice & spacious rooms, interesting craft opportunities, integrated shop with excellent local produce

Sometimes loud music until early in the morning; the cobbled stone paths can be difficult to walk on for people with mobility issues

In the style of an old Greek village, only 20 minutes by car from the center of Heraklion. A lovely stay.
