The owner is fantastic. She is very responsive, accommodating and very friendly. 10 out of 10 for the host. We checked in quite late and kept changing the check in time. The owner really was fantastic. The location of the house in the area is just fantastic. Its somewhat of a corner unit, so on one side there is no neighbors so it was very quite and very close to the beach, hiking trails and a few minutes drive to the southern tip of Africa monument. Shops are about 10 minutes away ( Pick n pay and OK foods). But if you need anything else, like Checkers and Woolies, its a 44km drive. The house is spacious. We didnt feel cramped at all. The couch was extremely comfy and could fit all 4 of us comfortably. The beds were also comfortable as well and were clean. A good surprise was that the house has an ice maker. The house also has many fire places and/ braai areas. The stove and oven are fantastic, nice and big and easy to use. Lots lots of parking outside which is also plus. Overall the house was but definitely it's the location that makes it great.

Some of the things i wasnt happy about at the house: -There's cameras in the living areas.so didn't feel private all. Also the staff that works at the house were lurking around( as they have a room/flat om the premises which they stay in), which was kind of awkward. It didnt feel like we had privacy. -Didn't have access to mops and brooms. So when we spilled something, had to go buy paper towels and make do with what we had. -The main bedroom with the best views is upstairs by itself, which felt disjointed from the rest of the house, as the rest of the bedrooms and the living areas are all on the ground floor. But the view is still beautiful and you can watch the sunset from the bedroom. -Since we stayed at the house when the area had cold rainy weather, we couldn't really use the outdoors, and the view wasn't as visible as I thought. There are glass sliding doors but there is some privacy film on the doors. -The kitchen is a bit small with limited counter space. Considering the size of the living areas, I would've expected an island at least. There is no dishwasher nor washing machine. -The power went off at some point. And we realised there's instructions left on what to do when the power goes off which talks about inserting a certain number on your banking. This was definitely not great at all. -The water from the shower takes a while to come out, and once you turn from cold to hot water on the the shower, suddenly the water pressure becomes very low. -Some areas were not as clean or being maintained. Some floor tiles on the outside were loose, some were not there. Some utensils were not clean and one of the showers were not draining properly ( I'm hoping its not not hair blocking the drain).

• Certain windows had privacy film only, with no curtains or blinds - no privacy after dark. • The concrete floors are not the cosiest.

The property is located on the beach with direct access to the sea. The property is lovely and spacious and each of the 5 bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom. It has great braai facilities as well as a pizza oven which we’ll use the next time we stay there.

The only negative aspect of the en-suite bathrooms is that there are no doors between the bedroom and bathroom. Definitely something that is easy to rectify.

It extremely spacious, you'd also have easy access to the beach.

Bathrooms had no doors.

The location is perfect. There's plenty of space.

The house is not properly constructed. It looks more like a DIY project. Everything is falling apart.
