The location was great. We were happy to revisit old friends after relocating from Kingswood to our home abroad.

Thought our winter holiday in George was going to be enjoyable as we were under the illusion of having secured the perfect holiday home, then the unexpected started. No one to receive us and to provide us with the needed information upon arrival, only WhatsApp messaging. Advertising on bookings are misleading and inaccurate. i.e. “heated swimming pool “. Not heated, it had Solar which was season depended. A house with three bathrooms, but only one person could shower at any given time, as there was NO water pressure nor enough hot water. Upon inquiring, the excuse was George had infrastructure problems, which were not accurate, as all our friends in George and living on Kingswood Estate had no issues with water. The fire places did not work. In a nutshell, we are of the opinion the property owner aren’t aware of all these occurrences. Unless they also don’t care to exercise due diligence to ensure money paid matches the advertised offer. The company managing the bookings , are definitely not professional nor focussed on customer satisfaction, considering our background had to “verified” before the booking could be confirmed. Rethink your holiday plans before deciding to make your booking.

House extremely cold in winter especialy with tiled stone floors every where & minimal rugs - would be good i n summer but not a comfort house in. winter
