"Fabulous property with a lovely rustic charm. Spacious, comfortable and well set up."

We loved the rustic décor, high timber ceilings, beautiful linens, and fabulous lighting. Cottage is closer to town than we expected, and on a busy road, but very quite inside and facing onto a peaceful gully and stream. Easy walk into town and a new flagship New World. Havelock North was lovely - great high street and shops, including Augustine.

"Lovely little cottage with everything and a short walk to town."

The space, walking distance to town, the spa.

We arrived peak hour and thought the main road may be noisy, but outside of peak it was ok.

"Amazing, would love to come back."

Brilliant stay at Black Cottage for four nights. Facilities were amazing, the place was spotless, plus so many personal touches which made it even more cosy as a home away from home for a few nights. Location was brilliant and we often walked into town.

Beautiful cottage. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Modern and well equipped. Nice and close to town.

A bit noisy during the day as next to a busy road with a lot of traffic noise.
