The landlord was kind to offer to collect us from the airport and left us with his car the first day.

When we arrived in Palokastriksa, the landlord said that our property was overbooked and offered us to stay in another place, very dirty, on a very noisy road. One toilet was horribly leaking - we spent a horrible night. I visited our place which was probably better (cleaning every three days apparently, which is not great but better than the first place) but we lost enthusiasm and it was not really fitting to us (it is quite far from the beach and on a hill) so we left without ever sleeping in the property. We had paid the full amount for 8 days , and the landlord refused to return any money - so all was good for him.

The views from the apartment are fantastic. A little dated ..

You need to physically fit for the walk up to the apartment unless you have hired transport.

The location is ok, but there is a very narrow and steep road so you need a small car or a scooter.

- The host parking is very difficult to enter for cars, and it can fit no more than 2 small cars. - The beds are very hard and creaking. - The climate units are very noisy since they are the cheapest possible. - The host asked for 25 eur cash for the use of the climate unit. - The host tried to intimidate me when I refused to use his parking and used a neighboring space. - The room was cleaned only once for our 5-day stay.

George, the host was exeptional in his will and ability to help. My sister decided to join us at the last minute and he upgraded us so we can be together. He helped us to get to the beach, and lent us his car. What a fabolous stay in the most beautiful part of Corfu. Thank you George for making our stay a comfortable and fun experience. We will return.

Everything was great

The location was wonderful, fantastic view over the bay. The owner and his mum were very friendly and were around if we needed anything.

The bathroom could do with modernising as shower very small.

Nice but could have some renovation

Nice location, romantic in its old fashion way, the panorama was breathtaking

Hosts are very friendly and caring people, always there to help you. Magnificent view from terrace. Cleaning and fresh towels every other day. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants but very quiet place.

Bathroom could use a little renovation.

This place is owned by amazing people. The owner met us in the first day, gave us complimentary wine and local fruit, told us literally everything about the local activities, where to go, gave us discount card to the nearest store. Can’t be more grateful, it was really nice of him. Rooms was extremely clean. Housekeeping lady was cleaning literally every day. Nice view to Paleokastritsa, you can sit in the evening and enjoy wine with the view. There is even small kitchen with plates, glasses, also coffee machine to make yourself morning coffee, but we never used as we did buy credo cappuccino in the nearest bakery. We enjoyed stay so much, everything was above expectations!

Distance from the sea on booking.com a bit misleading and says it’s close to the beach which isn’t true. Also you have to get really up to get to the place, if you have leg pain it might be hard for you to go up. For us it wasn’t an issue, but for some of people it might be.

First arriving to the apartment we were blown away by the view! It was everything we had hoped for and more, it really was so beautiful and the location was PERFECT! The walk is super quick to gorgeous traditional restaurants and Akron beach bar is very close which is great for sunbathing and renting boats to the paradise beaches, the main beach is also a 20 min walk away so you really have everything on your doorstep! I am glad I didn't listen to the reviews about the walk up to the apartment being far as it is quick and well worth the view once you get there! We really cannot say enough good things about our stay here, thank you George for being so accommodating and also putting fresh fruit and local wines in the fridge for our arrival also! We will be recommending to friends :)

The shower wasn't the best but didn't bother us too much as we were in the sea everyday anyway!
