Tranquil countryside farmhouse stay

Ci è piaciuto tantissimo il giro della fattoria con i proprietari, abbiamo visto il cavallo, i vitellini e le mucche. La veranda con la vista sul campo con le mucche è bellissima e anche la luminosa stanza privata con il ping pong, il biliardo, air hockey e il biliardino. C'è la lavatrice e la lavastoglie.

La camera è nel sottotetto anche se per noi non è stato un problema.

Peter and lorna were so helpful,lorna showed the kids the calfs and a horse,they loved it.even though they were busy,they made time for us.would highly recommend this place to stay.

Spacious property. Clean.

Almost perfect but had I known that the bathroom was downstairs, I would not have booked the property. Not great to be going downstairs in the middle of the night, particularly for elderly and disabled people; which we both were. Also freezing cold in bathroom. No heating provided in there. One of rings on cooker not working. Very inadequate lighting in main living area ... 1 main hanging light and 1 cooker hood light. A few more kitchen utensils wouldn't go amiss ... struggled to get fried eggs out of your pan!

The location is amazing, the morning views to the mountains are a plus. The host made us fresh scones for breakfast and jam. Really good.

Wow! Un réel coup de cœur pour nous. J’ai rarement connu des hôtes aussi accueillants! Ils nous ont fait faire le tour des environs en arrivant puis nous avons eu droit à plusieurs petites attentions. (Fleurs fraîches sur la table, scones et confiture maison, puis du bon lait frais. Pour ceux qui ont de jeunes enfants, tout est bien pensé. Barrière pour les escaliers, jouets, serviettes supplémentaires, etc. Avec les animaux qui dorment tout près, c’est une activité en soi d’être là. Notre seul regret est de ne pas être restés plus longtemps!

Country side. Quiet. Plenty of games for kids. Organised, clean and tidy. Lovely home made mince pies was a lovely unexpected extra treat.
