Close to the city center, many stores and restaurants nearby

Relatively close to the train station and a lovely lunch bar, washing machine available in the communal area, beautiful Christmas tree lights in the room, lift in the building, little playground at the back

The stairwell is very big and echoes, there is zero soundproofing. There was a party below in the stairwell that kept us awake for hours. The check in process would be easier with key safe boxes and codes sent out prior to arrival, to allow check in at any time. Additional fee for name change on the booking. The facilities were very minimal E.g. no salt/pepper, tea tray not refilled, little toilet paper. There is no pavement along the road and some drivers drove quite fast past pedestrians.

The room was quite big and we had all the necessities we needed including a comfortable bed, a table and chairs to put our things, an extra sofa in the room, and a small but useful kitchenette. The tv had lots of channels as well.

Upon arriving, it was very difficult to connect with the host to collect our keys. Though the host's property is on Booking.com, we weren't able to communicate with her through this platform. We needed to call her from a Polish cell phone, which we didn't have access to so we borrowed one from another guest staying at the same location. Luckily we spoke the local language so there wasn't a language barrier, but that could have been a major problem for other foreigners. We had to wait almost an hour before we could check-in because the host had left the location even though we gave her notice of our arrival time. Furthermore, the balcony we had at ground level had carpeting which soaked through and flooded from all the heavy rain. It would have been much more pleasant to simply have wood or stone paving with better drainage.
