Waterfront Canal Stunning Apartment

Nice size apartment at the AHA Apartment Block. Comfortable room, spacious and neat. Friendly reception. Good layout, although we've stayed in nicer apartments with better layouts than this one before.

Instructions for collection of keys not entirely clear, we were not sure which apartment block it was. Pindrop could be any of the apartment buildings in this area, so clear address instructions would be more helpful. This particular apartment is on the noisy side of the building, without any views.

Great location , close to CTICC where my business was

Run down, in need of a revamp. Dirty carpets, broken furniture, Aircon not working, unresponsive host, did NOTHING to resolve issues, full of excuses. This should not be offered on this platform. Booking did nothing to intervene.

Place was clean and kitchen well equipped

We were here for a conference at the CTICC, so the location was excellent. It's just a few minutes walk (and a safe walk). The apartment was comfortable, and has everything you need for a short stay. It was also easy to park in the basement, and it was easy to get Ubers from the front of the building. The restaurant on the ground floor is also nice and convenient.

The walk to the CTICC was very short, but I'd say the apartment is a tad far from the Waterfront. It's a 20-25 minute walk (because you can't make a beeline - it's a bit of a detour). So it just depends what your plans are in Cape Town. The main negative experience was with the aircon technicians. I didn't know there were plans to fix the air-conditioning and I was busy at the CTICC. I noticed a couple of missed calls, and I even called back twice. When I later managed to answer a call, it was the technicians calling me directly... and their exact words to me were "we have been trying to reach you the whole entire day." The situation was unclear but I was told to meet them at the apartment. It was a bit of a disruption to my work day. But the owner did apologise. The people also had to return the next day. And, after all of that, I never managed to get the aircon to turn on again.
