Jabulani Nairobi Backpackers Hostel

Good location right off the highway, staff were helpful and very friendly, responsive on whatsapp. Walking distance to Westlands. There is a balcony where you can hang your clothes if you do wash them. Cannot speak to social activities as I was not there for that long. I would definitely stay again.

Your experience highly depends on your bedmates (which is true generally of all hostels), I was unlucky to get a bedmate that was playing video games on his laptop until 3am, and the light and typing made it hard to sleep. Shower is clean but has no space to put your personal belongings, so bring a caddy!

Stayed here twice in a week. Friendly helpful staff. Good sized beds (4ft wide). Many thanks to Susan for good knowledge of the sgr, without her input I would've maybe missed my train

Struggled to get more than a trickle of water from shower, always cold

Bathrooms were clean, and the act of kindness from the care takers i.e Emily, Victoria and Chris (The Gentle man at the reception)

The staff are really helpful and friendly .They have activities everyday and you can easily socialise with others.
