Flamingo Apartments Moraitika Corfu

Amazing invitation from Dora and others from the moment we arrived to the Airport. The room was spacious, very clean with fresh linen and towels every few days. Separate rooms for kids and parents were amazing and also balcony with view on the pool. We enjoyed the pool, it was so much fun to spend time there. The breakfast was served from the kitchen, very tasty. Location was nice, close to the Moraitika city.

Dora and Melina are exceptional people, very attentive and willing to help.

Unfortunately the shower temperature fluctuates and with a small child this can be a bit complicated and this was a problem in all 3 rooms.

1. Staff amazing 2. Good location if you have a car 3. Breakfast OK, not a boufe, a plate with nearly the same food every day but enough to keep you for the day

1. Not value for money , didn't reach any expectations 2. No towels changed or bedsheets in 6 nights stay, only the bins emptied. . 3. Facilities need more care, not enough staff, maybe.

Staff were fantastic . Dora is so helpful made it feel like home.

A little way from shops or restaurants roads are busy and have no pavements Didn’t see anyone cleaning or checking the pool or surroundings in 14 days

The room was very large (3 single beds) The AC was working OK without the hazzle of the automatic shut off when opening the terrace door. In the morning, the unavoidable fresh shower was a nice jump start on the warm summer days.

Keep your small and restless child under a very, very close control: the main gate (by the pool side) is not locked and leads directly, without sidewalk, on a fast road on a low visibility turn. Please be careful.

We have just returned from 12 days at Flamingo as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids -12/13y/o) and had a brilliant holiday. We have never experienced such fantastic 'customer service' in our lives. If we could give more stars, we would! Such kindness and thoughtfulness experienced from the start of our stay through to the very end. It was not only the little gestures, like giving us some toiletries when we needed them or giving us water but also in helping us book activities (waterpark/boat trip) or hiring a car for a few days. Nothing was too much trouble including being dropped near to the beach or being picked up on days we wanted to venture out. As the other reviews have shared, it is on a main road but it seemed that many other places in Corfu were on this same road and so we didn't find it an issue. The beach is a 20 min walk (there's a quieter walk) or a 5 min lift from Dora. The apartments were clean and had everything we needed including air conditioning, the breakfast was great, the kids went in the pool every day, there were always loungers available, the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and Flamingo really did go beyond our expectations for our family holiday. Many thanks to Dora and her amazing family for creating such wonderful memories. Special shout out to Melina who was incredible in everything she did for us as a family - she is a star and our kids adore her! Thankyou.

The location was close to the city and the absolutely wonderful beaches.

In the 6 nights we stayed, they changed the towels the day before we left. The linen has never been changed. The trash was picked up only once. The furniture looks much worse in reality than in the pictures and squeaks very loudly to wake up everyone who is sleeping. Due to the fact that the windows were old, all the cars passing by on the street gave you the impression that they were next to you in bed. Breakfast which consisted of a sandwich with an egg plus a slice of cucumber and a tomato was the same every every every day….. I wonder how many sandwiches the owners of the location think the guests can eat for breakfast every day?
