Putu is such a lovely host. He organized our diving/snorkling tour, gave us good recommendations and got us a taxi driver to kuta. His brother was preparing the breakfasts.The rooms are clean and well sized. With the surrounding farms and animals that was the most authentic bali experience we had so far :)

Simple basic facility, actully quite well equiped (e.g. drinking water, kitchen, washing machine) and well maintained. The garden is really beautiful.

The kitchen was not clean

Large clean basic room. My host introduced me to a local Arak producer, which assisted the remainder of my trip around Bali.

Hard to find with difficult access. The noise neighbors are calves, chickens and pigs. I forgive them and enjoyed their company.

very friendly host, who organized everything for us. he was very fast and reliable in everything he did. brought us coconuts every day and anything else we were in need of. we did his snorkeling tour which was great. we also went hiking in the forest (organized by somebody else) which was not so great. ask the host for advice what to do, there is a lot and he knows what is good. there is also a nice beach in 25mins walking distance, you can rent boats and go swimming there.

the kitchen is very small, but it suffices to make coffee and there are two good restaurants in 5mins walking distance

All! Location: good location, close to Banyuwangi port (where you can head to Menjangan Island), to Banyuwedang hotspring, several eateries, and local shops for daily needs. Hospitality: Pak Putu was super hospitable and very calm person. He is the owner and specialized in trekking & bird-watching. Meanwhile Pak Wayan, his friend -is specialized as snorkeling/diving tour guide. There is common kitchen available but we only used it for making tea. Food & service: Breakfast for 2 was affordable, and we ordered for last day. Pak Putu also arranged private snorkeling trip for us, which was also affordable and super worth it. He himself was a practical person which map-shared us to closest eateries that was delicious that we went back 2 times in a row. Overall -> super recommended for backpacking traveler either solo or couple. Staying there, the owner will assist you on trips nearby, and the small city itself is quite and the people were friendly

The road was small and good for 1 car, but it was much accessible if you ride motorcycle like we did.

Great homestay in a village, Putu and Iuda will help you with everything you need. Snorkeling was the best I have ever done in my life. I also reccomend getting a massage at the homestay, it was true bliss!

We very much appreciated the information and recommendations coming from the owner Putu. On your arrival he shares all the things you need to know to get around (nearest ATM and restaurants on walking distance) and sightseeing ideas. It's so convenient! We rent scooters and went on a lovely sunset mangrove tour with the kind Putu and on a cool snorkeling tour with the funny Wayan. After admiring the beautiful garden and talking about plants and seeds, he gave us a papaya. We brought the seeds home. We wished we had stayed longer in this homestay surrounded with cows, pigs and the ocean breeze. From all the places we went on Bali we liked this laid back area the most.
