Durbanville Self Catering Apartments

Although apartment located close to Tygervalley, the apartment is situated next to Durbanville main road. So the traffic noise continues right throuhg the night and is very disturbing as you do not get a goodnigts sleep. The host of the property must declare this to guests upfront.

Apart from the 24/7 traffoc noise thefe is an invertor inside the kitchen who switches on amd off and is very noisy. The fans comes on and off and makes a load blowing noise. The apartment is small so it sounds like the noise is in your bedroom. The neighbours on either side are very noisy till late at night as the main bed room is built close to neighbours kitchen and lounge. Furthermore the apartment was not clean. We found hair on the floor and in our beds. The host offered to come vacuum it up but really after a long days travel who still have energy for that inconvience. The host brought new bed sheets to replace the stained sheets which had hair on it as well. We replaced the sheet but found more hair under the sheet. The matress was also stained. We decided to check out the next day. The hyigene is unacceptable. We only recieved 2 days out of the 4 days of our money back. Other: parkings small, kitchen utensils poor, shower in bath. Stove did not work. Host offered 2 plate stove. I took photos of all the problems of the property.

Stayed here twice. We loved it because it is a great location for places to be and people to see. However, the apartment has great amenities if you just want to stay-in as well.

Rooms were amazing, just enough space. Kitchen and lounge was amazing too. Outside braai was perfect.
