"Bad host, bad location"

We were coming from a long trip, made a reservation and stated that we'd arrive AROUND MIDNIGHT. After traveling for 10 hours and coming to the adress, the host wasnt there. All lights turned off. We had to book a hotel for the night. The host REFUSED to refund us for the stay, even tho it was her fault, not ours. Absolutely amazing experience. All things aside, there are far better and more convenient apartments to stay at, with better location, nicer host and less money.

My first thought was that they are a nice family that is running business. Willing to help with smaller things.

I went there for a wedding and so i came back late and i just almost overslept checkout. They called me and i didn't like their attitude how they only wanted my money if i will be late on checkout. There are nicer ways to solve this i wouldn't have any problem paying more but i am alergic to this kind of attitude.1
