Villa Franca

The room was beautiful, clean and had everything one should need. I would definitely like to stay again another time.

We were in Bari only for a day, but Villa Franca was a wonderful place to stay, even better than in pictures - very clean, spacious, interesting enterior, great comfy bed and also a private parking in the yard which is very convenient. It is in a quiet residential part of Bari - 300m from the house there is a bus stop for bus 6 that takes you to the Old town. Pierpaolo is a very good host, providing all the info we needed and some good recommendations. Would easily come back to Villa Franca if in Bari

The room was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The host Pierpaolo was friendly and understanding (we checked in late due to car rental issues).

Amazing place to stay. The room was spacious and clean. It's great to be able to park for free at the courtyard of the accommodation. No breakfast, but there is a nice place for breakfast about 100 meters away. There is also a supermarket nearby. The place is easy to reach from the airport. Bari old town is reachable on foot, but it is a bit of a walk. By car, it is only a short drive. Would definitely stay here again.

Villa Franca is a little outside down town Bari, but therefore a very quite and secure place. With a private parking lot and a huge room with sofa, a table for 4 nice bathroom and coffee machine, we didn’t miss anything here. The bus (1€) runs to the old city in 20 minutes and other important places like coffee shop (I.e. the Hogwarts Cafe) and shopping opportunities can be reached by foot. Even the very nice local market Santa Scolastica is just a 15 minutes walk away.

Pierpaolo and Rosa are friendly and helpful hosts. They live in the same compound as the apartment, so they're there should you need anything, but they are also not obtrusive in any way. The onsite, off-street parking is secure with an electronic gate that guests can operate with their own fob. Our ground-floor apartment was scrupulously clean and had a very well-equipped kitchen. Tastefully decorated with warm, muted tones. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Good-sized bathroom with large shower. We loved our daily visits from Edward...the sweetest, one-eyed dog you'll ever meet!!!

Just a suggestion: it would be better if the tv could be mounted in the dining/living area rather than in the bedroom.

Villa Franca was the best place we stayed in Puglia and one of the best we've ever stayed at. Large, very comfortable and clean room, located in a quiet and peaceful area (still, less than half-hour walk from the railway station), excellent for those arriving by car due to the (free & secured) private parking. The place is tastefully decorated and well-cared to detail. Pierpaolo, our host, was very kind and helpful, he advised us where to eat, how to get around, and was available to accommodate any questions or requests. Plus, at the pizzeria just across the street we tasted the best pizzas in Puglia. When we come back to Bari we will definitely stay there again.

We were warmly welcomed by owners. They provided us the room-tour and answered for the all our questions. The owners take care about their guests , so you can find some cosmetic stuff in a bathroom that you don’t usually find in the hotel. Also they prepared for us a surprise and it was very cute (no spoilers).
