Hornbill Forest Habarana

Amazing staff- friendly and accommodating. Beautiful rooms and nature. Only 2 villas/4 rooms. Loved the outdoor shower and wood deck.

Eine wunderbare kleine Anlage mit vier Zimmern/Wohneinheiten in zwei erhöht gebauten Bungalows. Der Blick von der Terasse geht über einen Teich inmitten zahlreicher Bäume. Dort tummeln sich die Affen, Palmhörnchen und sogar der namensgebende Hornbill taucht mal auf. Obwohl nur etwa hundert Meter von der Hauptstrasse weg, fühlt man sich mitten in der Natur. Das lokale Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet! Abendessen konnte Shashika, der ausserordentlich hilfsbereite Manager zwar nicht anbieten, in Gehdistanz liegt aber eine Vielzahl von unterschiedlichen Restaurants. Das Zimmer sind hell, geräumig und sauber, Badezimmer und Duche grosszügig und modern. Die Küche mit Kühlschrank und bereitgestelltem Tee/Kaffee war eine angenehme Ergänzung für uns als Familie. Wir haben fünf unvergessliche Tage im Hornbill Forest verbracht und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

Lovely welcome, simple check in, spotless well appointed villa. It had everything you needed, loved the big veranda, ability to sit outside on the veranda or the seating area downstairs. Pool was lovely, had a swim in the mornings and evenings after a full day out. Breakfast was amazing, so many options and freshly made and prepared - we said it was more like a breakfast and lunch than just a breakfast. The team were so helpful, when we went out for a swim they would put the jucuzzi jets on ! We loved our tree house stay, so unique - open air shower, comfortable beds and cute kitchenette. We would love to have stayed longer three nights there were just not enough.

Ambiente familiare senza rinunciare a un servizio di alta qualità! La colazione, sia dolce che salata era buonissima, è stata la migliore dello Sri Lanka! Dormire nella natura è stato fantastico; si va a dormire con le lucciole e ci si sveglia con i tucani. Carina la piscina!

Purtroppo ci è stato raccomandato un driver inaffidabile che è stato poco trasparente su prezzo e alla fine ci ha chiesto molto di più del prezzo stabilito. Ardendo organizzato la struttura questo trasporto ci siamo fidati. Per i trasporti vi suggerisco di fare da soli. Pick me funziona benissimo!
