Siamo arrivati alle 15 come previsto, e al check in ci hanno fatto attendere mezz'ora sotto il sole con un bambino di 2 anni, senza avvisare e senza scusarsi dell'accaduto. Anzi, ci è stato detto che non c'eravamo solo noi, gestivano altre strutture e quindi dovevamo attendere il loro arrivo con la massima tranquillità. Una volta saliti sopra è stata tolta davanti di noi la spazzatura dei vecchi inquilini e tralasciata anche altra spazzatura, tra cui asciugamani sporche, il quale emettevano una puzza orribile. Nonostante avessi fatto presente che il mio compagno fosse allergico alle polvere, l'appartamento si è presentato in pessime condizioni, tra cui: cassetti dei comò rotti, polvere ovunque, peli dentro il frigo e doccia, sportelli della cucina tutti pieni di grasso, maniglie delle porte rotte..tant'è che siamo rimasti bloccati in camera perché non avevamo modo di uscire. Sottolineo che, in tutto ciò c'era un bimbo di 2anni. ESPERIENZA DA NON RIPETERE, NEMMENO REGALATO.

Una casa spaziosa, ordinata, pulitissima, completa di tutto il necessario per una vacanza con la famiglia. Abbiamo soggiornato in 6 persone (4 Adulti e due bambini) e l'appartamento è risultato comodissimo. I gestori di Nicola House sono super !!! Il loro obiettivo: "farti sentire come a casa tua", siamo stati supportati in tutto e persino soccorsi per una disavventura capitata durante il soggiorno. Massima disponibilità e professionalità Top. Difficile trovare in giro un servizio di questo livello.

Honest Feedback After a 10-Day Stay We stayed in this apartment for 10 days, and I’d like to share an honest review outlining both the positives and the challenges we experienced. The apartment is spacious and can comfortably accommodate 6 people. While it’s not a luxury flat, it has a well-equipped kitchen, several balconies, and is generally clean and tidy. Overall, a good value for the price if you’re only looking for space and basic functionality.

Misleading Photos: The furniture arrangement was completely different from the listing photos. We were expecting a living room to gather as a group, but upon arrival, we found it had been turned into a bedroom. That was quite disappointing. And also there were no mattress and bedding for one of the single bed, so my mom has to sleep on the sofa but it was not comfortable at all. Lack of Basic Amenities: We requested an iron, only to be told that there was a laundry service downstairs. While the apartment includes major appliances like an oven, microwave, and washing machine, an iron and ironing board (which cost just around €100–150) would make a big difference for guest comfort. We had to bring our own iron from abroad, which was inconvenient. Serious Power Supply Issues: You cannot use hot water and air conditioners at the same time. Every time someone turned on the hot water while ACs were running, the main power cut off. Over 10 days, we had to flip the main power switch more than 50 times. Even boiling water for tea meant turning off an AC and making sure no one was in the bathroom. Air Conditioner Drain Problem: Each AC unit is connected to a 20-liter bottle that fills up within 24 hours. The owner informed us that we needed to empty it ourselves, otherwise water would start dripping down the building. Not exactly something a guest should be dealing with on vacation. Broken Washing Machine: The water tank of the washing machine was broken, and I had to fix it for approximately two hours by myself, because owners ignored. Not ideal. Pest Issues: We encountered large cockroaches inside the apartment, particularly in the bathroom. When we messaged the owner, he casually replied that “in Catania it’s normal outside.” We clarified it was inside the apartment—and got a one-word reply: “Ooh.” Lack of Support from Owners: The owners were mostly unresponsive when we reached out with issues or questions.

The property is well located near the underground station “Galatea”(8/10 minutes walking). The bus stop to take the coach to Taormina and Messina is near as well (12 minutes walking). The property is large 3 bedrooms flat and can accommodate a group of 5 or 6.

The property has few problems and we reported them to the agency. First of all some of the sockets were not working properly, the ones that work are very slow (for example, my phone stayed charging the whole night and it arrived only to 75%).The toilet seat was dislodged,the washing machine drum was not working and generally the property was dusty. Some furniture are also broken.

Great welcome and service! The apartment is very large, clean and tidy! It has all the amenities! The location is in a great place! I highly recommend it!!
