Sunset House

*The location was extremely quiet with an amazing view of Mount Banahaw complex volcano from both balconies. *The garage is huge, and the entrance stairway and patio area are very luxurious, leading to the entrance of the villa. *Inside the villa is luxurious from floor to ceiling.

*The open plan lounge/ dining area/ kitchen doesn't have air conditioning, which was disappointing as it is extremely hot inside! There were electric fans, but these don't cool the area enough to make it comfortable for eating or relaxing in the lounge, unfortunately. *We were a family of 11, including 4 young children. The property doesn't provide towels. I did contact the property owner, and she explained that she doesn't provide them for hygiene reasons. However, I've stayed in over 200 different hotels/ villas and apartments all over the world, including elsewhere in the Philippines, and The Sunset House is the first place I've stayed at that doesn't provide towels for the guests. *The Sunset House description states that there are 4 bedrooms in the house, including 2 single beds- the x2 single beds are actually 2 fold away mattresses. Actually there are only 3 bedrooms.

There is no hot water in the other washroom and not enough linen

Big! Good fit for 10+ families. The view of Mt Banahaw was exceptional!

No TV in the living room.

The staff were nice, friendly and polite and they accomodated us when we arrived early. They cleaned the place really well before we got there plus they can be easily contacted when we have questions about the place. The house is beautiful and modern and its overlooking Mt. Banahaw.

There was no heater in the shower while the water was ice cold and had low pressure (they have a heater but it was turned off because the power they have cant carry the load...I suggest to take the listing off the market till this issue is resolved- boiling water with 2 kettles were no fun), there's only 1 airconditioner in the whole house and its in the masters bedroom. I was generally uncomfortable with our stay. The price was not worth it if something as standard as a heated shower and aircon in each room were not met.

The house is so vibrant and elegant.

The water supply is low and the power supply is overheating when all lights and appliances are in use.

The house is so comfy to stay. I hope the power supply will be fixed as soon as possible so that the water supply will improve as well.
