Villa Encore

The location was excellent. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The house itself, and the back area were beautiful. The property was very roomy and comfortable. The host was extremely responsive, which I really appreciated. There were games, toys, kayaks, and fishing poles for use during our stay. We had 9 adults and 2 children and we all really had a great time.

Although the home was beautiful, it was in need of some TLC. I understand it is a rental and unfortunately that showed in the cleanliness. While the beds and bathrooms were clean, the floors and windows were not. We had a 10 month old with us that was never put on the floor! The bathtub in the upstairs bathroom was hard to get into and had no place for toiletries. Maybe a step to step into the tub and a stand to place shampoo on would fix the issue. The shower in the queen master bathroom should have instructions on how to use it, as it wasn't clear. The nonstick skillet coating was peeled, so not something we felt comfortable using. We ended up buying a skillet, but we drove so we were able to take it with us.

THE HOUSE WAS NOT AS DESCRIBED IN THE LISTING. IT SAID 5BED 5BATH THE 2 BEDROOMS DOWN STAIRS HAD THERE OWN BATH. THE 2BEDROOMS UPSTAIRS SHARED A BATHROOM OLD TUB THAT WAS HARD TO GET IN TO SHOWER. IT DIDNT HAVE ANYPLACE FOR SOAP AND SHAMPOO YOU HAD TO LEAVE IT ON A COUNTER AND TRY TO REECH IT .THE OTHER BEDROOM HE LIST IS BAD IT HAS NO CLOSET NO DRESSER FOR YOUR CLOSE.THEN IN THE SAME ROOM WAS THE WASHER AND DRYERS .WE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE ONE WASHER RUINING SOME OF OUR CLOTHES HE REALLY DIDNT SEEM TO CARE. WE HAD A BAD PROBLEM WITH BUGS THE PROPERTY MANGER SAID HE WOULD GET SOME ANT TRAPS ETC.WE NEVER GOT THEM THAT WOULD HAVE COST ABOUT 12BUCKS WE HAD TO KEEP ALL OF OUR BREAKFAST FODS IN THE FRIG BECAUSE OF ALL THE ANTS. THE BEDRM WITH NO CLOSETS OR DRESSER FOR YOUR CLOTHES HAD BATH OUT BY THE POOL THE ERE WAS NO AIR IN THAT BATH BEING OUTSIDE SO SHE COULDNT DRY HERE HAIR SHE HAD TO USE SOMEONES BATH ROOM ANOTHER BIG INCONVENIENCE. WE NEVER GOT THE FRONT DOOR TO OPEN IT WAS OUT OF ALIGNMENT THE PROPERTY MANGER SAID IT WAS LIKE THAT FOR MONTHS AND NOT FIXED.WE HAD TO LEAVE A DOOR IN BACK BY THE POOL UNLOCKED WHEN WE LEFT SO WE COULD WALK INTO THE SO SOMEONE COULD HAVE COME IN AND ROB US OF OUR PROPERTY.AND THE POOL DIDNT HAVE A SAFETY HANDLE IN THE POOL TO GET IN AND OUT OF WHICH I THINK IS A SAFETY VIOLATION. HE HAS TO CHANGE HIS LISTING BECAUSE ITS NOT CLOSE TO BEING ACCURATE AS LISTED. SOMEONE WENT TO USE THE SOFA BED IN THE LIVING ROOM PICKED UP THE CUSHION IT WAS FILTHY HADNT PROBABLY NOT CLEANED IN YEARS.WILL NEVER STAY WITH THEM EVER AGAIN.
