Vitae Hostel

I had a canceled flight and needed a place to sleep. This was the only available option for adequate money. The price is really fair for these conditions. The staff is friendly. Youthful atmosphere.

Since this is a hostel, the disadvantages of shared rooms are expected and I don't see them as disadvantages. The main problem for me is the level of cleanliness. The furniture, toilets, showers, floors, even the bedding was dirty. Keep this in mind if you are sensitive to dirtiness

I really loved the staff, they're always so friendly, and there's also so many opportunities to meet people there. I fell in love with this hostel and definitely will be back.

The matress was a little hard, but nothing I couldn't handle.

Unfortunately the place was very dirty and in overall a very deplorable condition. I travel as a backpacker a loooot and have stayed at budget hostels MANY times, but this time I literally booked 4 noghts and did NOT sleep there. I just left. Of course I lost my money as the reservation was non-refundable and I had to chekc in at a random hostel I found on the spot as a replacement for this. Not the best experience. I lost money and time, which are two things I am very concious about, especially as I travelled to Budapest during the holiday season (christmas). Unfortunetely, would not recommend.
