Vitae Hostel

The hostel had a friendly staff. There is something happening everyday like drinking games and going to the clubs.

Our room was so cold and dirty. It smelled bad, the carpet on the floor was visibly dirty, there was mold on the wall and on the second day the ceiling started to leak. The bedding was also old and didn’t seem clean. The water in the showers wasn’t always hot. I was in hostels around Europe for the same price and they were all much better.

Super friendly staff! So welcoming and full of good tips for Budapest. There are activities on every night so it’s really easy to meet people and make new friends. Location is perfect - right next to a tram stop and within walking distance to lots of attractions. I highly recommend!

The bathrooms are a bit old, but they are kept spotlessly clean. Also I think they are planning on updating them soon.

Confortable and enjoyable common areas. Nice staff, very helpful. Very nice location, near pubs, clubs and city center.

Broken window in the room so it was very cold during the night.

Vitae is the best hostel i have ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in 52 in the last 7 months)! The staff are exceptional and welcome you in just like family. The events they have every night are super fun and inclusive of everyone and the family dinners are both delicious (thank you Jess ♥️) and an amazing way to meet other travellers. You can see why so many people extend their stay here, vitae definitely makes the Budapest experience something special. I can’t recommend this place enough

Loved the atmosphere and the general vibe of the hostel and the staff. Staff are absolute lads 🤓
