Kandy Anu Homestay

The owner is very nice and extremely helpful! She was very attentive and helped us out with a lot of things just as train tickets, forgotten phone on a taxi (yes we got it back!) and so on! She was very kind! They made our stay great. Hotel room was great too. We slept very well and it was clean and the view from the balcony outside was very nice.

Anu’s Homestay is a lovely place to relax in the hectic city of Kandy. It was clean, with a warm, homey atmosphere, and we were greeted very kindly. Anu supported us with good tips, and we were even allowed to use her kitchen. We had a great stay!

Friends, if you want to stay in the picturesque town of Kandy, then be sure to stay in this house.!!! This is a real Home away from Home. A wonderful hostess, Anu and her husband will be hospitable hosts for you.!

the stay was very nice, the people were caring about me a lot. we were cooking together in the eveing traditional food. I can highly recommend this place :)

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely guesthouse! The rooms, located on the second floor of the host's home, are very charming and cozy, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There's also a shared space where you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee, relax, and watch TV. One of the highlights is the beautiful balcony — a peaceful spot to enjoy the quiet, homely side of Kant, with a view that feels serene and intimate. My stay lasted just one night, but it left a very warm and positive impression. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and her whole family showed great hospitality. They even helped me carry my suitcase and allowed me to leave it at the property for a little while after check-out. Overall, a truly pleasant and heartwarming experience!

The room is very clean with comfortable bed, linens and wonderful towels. The owner (Ms. Anu) provided everything we needed (hot water maker, electrical extra outlets and hangers) when we checked-in. The view of hills is so beautiful and we enjoyed staying at Anu Homestay to relax. Standard double Room is a compact size but cleanness of room let us feel great. The sound of air conditioner is calm and Wifi is powerful to connect.

At first, 2 dogs barked at us to be surprised but they got to used to us gradually. The map of Booking.com is not correct and the road is a little difficult to find to turn from Kandy road. A small sign is on the wall so don't miss it to turn a small path to arrive at Anu Homestay. The sound of hot shower is a little noisy but it's bearable.

Believe me one of the finest Stay. Mrs. Anu and her husband are so helpful and great.

Anu (the host) was fabulous and her family delightful. They all made us very welcome and were able to organise tuk tuks and a taxi for us. The balcony is lovely and the tea tray in the evening was a lovely touch.

It is slightly out of town although this wasn’t a problem as the hosts were on hand to help with transport.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Very sweet host family. Beautiful views over Kandy and mountains.

The bathroom could improve a little.
