Everything was perfect, better than the photos.

Nothing, even the steep stairs were less of a problem than we thought they would be, just two tiny flights of stairs.

The apartment was cleaned spotless, the bed very comfortable and you basically have everything you need for a short stay in Rovinj! The location is in the heart of the old town of Rovinj, with the cutest caffe right beneath the building, and a walking distance from all attractions.

Not a dislike, but maybe a heads up - the staircase in the building is very narrow and steep, with old high wooden steps and many of them too so it was a struggle to get the luggage up and back down. There is no light at night so you have to use you phone to light the way! ://

Stairs are quiet dangerous

The owner wrote us tips on restaurants, bars and places we could visit. It helped us a lot. We were there in a good bar and on a beautiful beach. There are two great bars below the accommodation. The apartment is excellently soundproofed, nothing can be heard and it is quiet and peaceful.

Wonderful location overlooking what feels like a very authentic little square in the old town. The host was really helpful with many suggestions on local activities. It feels newly renovated and really clean.

Everyone mentions the stairs and it really is not for the fainthearted. It is steep, dark and somewhat smelly, and if you have heavy suitcases you will struggle. We travelled light and managed okay. I accept that this is not within the host’s control. However, a more comfortable bed with crisp cotton linen, especially for the matrass cover, and fluffy towels would make it so much more comfortable and easy to score it a 10/10.
