Goyambokka Beach Retreat

- 3 minute walk to a pretty beach with decent bars - kind staff - cheap

- the cleanliness: our bedsheets had stains, the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned and the sun beds by the pool were just dirty - there is neither wifi nor cellular signal in the rooms - there was no hot water when we arrived (that was fixed later) - in reality, there is just one (very kind) guy who handles check-in, carrying bags, renovation, maintenance and taking orders in the restaurant which in result makes everything take a long time

tolle Anlage - der große Garten ist wunderschön und man kann sehr viele Tiere beobachten. Betten und Ausstattung war in Ordnung. In nur 3-4 Gehminuten ist man am Strand und das Abendessen im Restaurant war ebenfall super.

Wartezeiten beim Frühstück und Abendessen teils sehr lange, einiges könnte renoviert werden und etwas sauberer sein.

Good accomodation, nearby beautiful beach . Staff was so nice ! They have great swimmimg pool and good food :) I recommend this place with my friends :)

Dirty air-conditioner

The front of house staff member is excellent. The breakfast was yummy. The proximity to the beach was good.

We had a family room with two double beds which was severely overpriced. The property is very worn and dirty. Even though we arrived an hour and a half after the allowed check in time we still had to wait two hours before we were able to enter our room.

Лучшее место на Шри-Ланке. Никакой суеты, нет толп, чистые пляжи на любой вкус. Все что нужно - главное спросить. Приветливый персонал.

La verdure, et l'établissement est situé juste à côté de la plage de Goyambokka. On peut y aller à pied en 2min.

La piscine n'est pas entretenu, elle est sale, les coussins des transats sont mangés par les chiens et sont très sales. La cuisine au restaurant est bonne mais le temps d'attente est tellement interminable que ça gâche le repas. Chaque matin, à 8h au petit déjeuner pour être servi vers 9h15. Le séjour n'est pas du tout adapté aux familles. Nous sommes restés 5 nuits, un matin le petit déjeuner a duré 2heures. Le personnel est très gentil mais il n'y a malheureusement aucune organisation. La salle de bain mérite vraiment un gros rafraîchissement, et les chambres ne sont pas nettoyé correctement. Bref, fuyez

The hotel is beautifully located, close to two beaches, which is definitely a plus. However, the price is not really justified by the quality. The rooms are quite average, and the bathroom is below standard. The garden is rather neglected, and the pool is in a similar condition. The property clearly needs some renovation. On the positive side, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Convenient for the beach. An abundance of peacocks in the grounds. Simple, private raised bungalows.

Wirklich nah am Strand und die Anlage hat Potential.

Alles andere. Es wirkt schmuddelig und ungepflegt. Mehrere Kakerlaken, Wasserdruck gab es nicht, duschen unmöglich. Pool dreckig. Moskitonetz voller Löcher. Das Personal immer lächelnd, aber mit allem überfordert. Essen zu bekommen dauerte eine Stunde, sowohl abends als auch morgens. Es ist nichts organisiert, was den Jungs dort die Abläufe erleichtern würde. Zum Schluss wurde unserem Tuk Tuk Fahrer, trotz mehrmaliger Absprache, ein falscher Zielort übermittelt und es endete für uns nicht schön.
