INLocated about 30-40 mins from Thoothukudi city right on the water with pristine beaches, Aqua Outback offers an off-grid, peaceful, and completely relaxing experience if you're looking to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of modern city life. The staff are absolutely friendly and helpful, always ready to help and be of assistance. The Motha family that owns the property is extremely warm, welcoming, and always ready to give you the best tips when it comes to finding good spots around the property to swim, snorkel, kayak, or just birdwatch (there's tons of flamingos in the salt pans right behind the property). Aqua offers an experience like no other. Whether it's the absolutely delicious food they serve up (a lot of South Indian but they also whip up some other really good options from their menu), or the cute rustic rooms from where you can still hear the waves rolling over the sand right outside while you sneak in a quick nap between swimming and kayaking sessions. You're treated like family there. With a lot of common space if you want to mingle with guests and a communal dining space that really makes it feel like you're having meals with the cousins. The property is designed in a way where it's really easy to make new friends if you so choose. I had a lovely experience there and wish I could've stayed longer. Definitely will visit again real soon!
