Anlio Resort

Breakfast was very good. Love their bread. The coffee is VERY strong- be careful with it. Great central location. Not on a beach but is within easy driving distance of everything. Our room was very quiet at night, among the most quiet of any place I have stayed in the Philippines, and I have stayed at MANY places.

The mattress was too firm for my taste. I like a very soft mattress. That's my only criticism.

Only downside was that the tray in the shower broke and fell off the wall (we never did anything that caused this damage to occur) and the staff had no choice but to charge us for damage. The money never bothered me but the principal of having to take responsibility because they would not do so for their facilities failing didn't feel right to us. It's the same as opening a door and having the handle fall off and then you being responsible for the failure of their property and having to pay to replace.

Comfy bed and nice room

There was no bottled water in the room or available at the restaurant or reception, think this is pretty basic requirement. Also when cleaning our room they turned the air con off so when we came back in 37 degree heat it was boiling in the room.
