de luxueuze faciliteiten en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Ze kwamen me zelfs ophalen aan het busstation een heel eind van de accomodatie en brachten me achteraf ook weer terug naar een (ander) busstation. Ze regelden ook het busticket voor mij.

Eigenlijk niets. In het begin, toen ik aankwam, dacht ik dat het echt afgelegen was. Maar in realiteit was je met een wandelingetje van nog geen 10 minuten op de plek waar het zich allemaaal afspeelt.

For a start, my fantastic experience and high expectations with Hotel Aikawa began prior to my trip to Nepal. Milan, the reservations manager and a true legend, was so prompt, reassuring, detailed and friendly in his responses to all my questions before arriving in Chitwan that I knew that I would really enjoy my stay in Hotel Aikawa. I arrived by coach after a horrendously uncomfortable, and bumpy, journey from Kathmandu and was surprised to see Milan welcome me at the bus station. Not many managers would do that! On arrival at the hotel, Milan then surprised me by upgrading me to the best suite in the whole hotel and I was very touched by this gesture. The views of the extensive rice fields from my window were stunning. I immediately decided to extend my stay by one more day as I could not pass up this opportunity of luxury in this beautiful hotel, especially after chaotic and crowded Kathmandu! The huge gardens are absolutely exquisite, and designed in a Japanese style with wooden bridges over a pond with different varieties of fish, beautiful stonework and wicker furniture, outside bar and so many cool areas to chill. All the staff were so friendly and attentive including Bishwo, Rachana, Kausal, Kavita, etc and they could not do enough for me to make me feel special. The food at the hotel is high quality and the chefs kindly catered to my requests for extra chilli and sauce in my chilli chicken which I had on two occasions for dinner. The hotel is within walking distance of the main town but secluded away from the hustle and bustle of the centre. Milan, at the front desk, even organised the cancellation of one day at my hotel in Pokhara as I was staying an extra day in Hotel Aikawa, and also booked the bus to Pokhara for me with such ease and efficiency. I cannot thank Milan, and his excellent staff, enough for the most wonderful three nights in Chitwan and wholeheartedly endorse staying at this true gem of a hotel for a luxurious, scenic and relaxing stay!

This is a truly amazing hotel with so much space, beauty, well designed, spotlessly clean, stunning views of rice fields, secluded, attentive and caring staff, first class hospitality and service, and the list goes on. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THAT I COULD FAULT REGARDING THIS HOTEL and my only genuine regret is that I could not stay longer at Hotel Aikawa!

Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt, das Personal überaus aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker, die Speisen werden frisch zubereitet, aus dem Restaurant heraus kann man dem Küchenpersonal dabei zusehen. Mit dem Hotel-Guide haben wir den Nationalpark erkundet und sogar einen Tiger gesehen. Von allen Hotels, in denen wir auf unserer Nepalreise gewohnt haben, ist das Hotel Aikawa für uns unangefochten auf Platz 1!

Our stay at the Hotel Aikawa was amazing. The spacious rooms were spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing, staff helpful especially Mr Milan who went out of his way to make our stay memorable. Mr Malin organized our safari tour which was spectacular, the village tour which is a must, especially the museum which was very interesting and the culture program in town, which was fun. Set in a peaceful location Hotel Aikawa is an easy 12 minute stroll into town. Absolutely 5 stars. Thanks Mr Milan and the team for everything.

Such a great stay at the Aikawa, from the moment we arrived at the bus park we were met by lovely hotel staff offering us a free transfer to the hotel, to the moment they dropped us off again they could not do enough for us to ensure we had a pleasant staff. Food was also excellent and the safari with Raj, all organized and booked through the hotel left us with memories to cherish for a lifetime. Highly recommend
