Courtyard Hotel Gqeberha

I’ve stayed there before. Usually a lovely place and setting.

The hotel is being renovated and construction is ongoing. The lounge, bar and restaurant is closed with only a small area at reception available to eat and have a drink. This was made only after the booking was already confirmed. It should have been disclosed and the price adjusted for the limited facilities.

Rooms are beautiful and location is perfect

After paying for my accommodation only then I received an email saying the hotel is under renovation which left us paying for all the facilities but all was not available for use . Nowhere on any of the booking apps was it mentioned that hotel is under renovations or that you have an issue with electricity outings . On arrival the electricity went out and the generator was non functioning. The dining area is tiny and the sound of people’s voices echoing was unbearable. It was not ideal to sit down and have a quiet dinner . The pool is under construction and not available for use . One thing we wanted to do is hang out at the pool . We had to go to the neighbouring hotel for dinner and was advised if we wanted to use a pool we could get a pass at reception to go to the neighbouring hotel. I feel the hotel should be upfront with all these issues . I feel I paid more for my stay this time than in January when all the facilities were available yet I paid more for less now . As a regular at your hotel I feel you should’ve done better atleast drop your rates if your facilities are not all available . I look forward to a beautiful renovated hotel and a better pricing for our next visit . Good luck with the renovation

They didn't advertise that they are doing renovations and half the facilities are unavailable

Great location, clean, modern very comfortable, great friendly staff, amazing breakfast

Busy with renovations but didn’t impact and will make a huge difference

Room location cleanliness amenities and balcony viewing the ocean all great

no pool. we would have stayed an extra week if you had a pool
