The bed was a bit too firm

The pet-friendly policy was the primary reason we chose to book our stay in Boknes.

The advertisement stated that the property was pet-friendly, but the owner informed us that dogs were not allowed on the beds or couches. This raised concerns, as it seemed to contradict the pet-friendly claim. Additionally, we were asked to move to another house on the property because our dogs had disrupted some plants. While we understand the need to maintain the property, it seems contradictory to label the place as pet-friendly when such occurrences are to be expected with pets. It would be more accurate to describe the accommodation as "pet-safe" rather than fully pet-friendly. We were also disappointed by the owner's behavior, as they shouted at our dogs, which we felt was unprofessional. In terms of comfort, the beds were very hard, and we had to place the cushions from the couches on the bed in order to sleep comfortably. When the owner inquired about the mattresses, we explained the situation. Finally, while on vacation, we were asked to ensure that the gate was open for other guests. We were unclear as to whether this was our responsibility and found it to be an unexpected request.

Everything was clean and neat. They've really thought about everything, because the unit is equiped with everything that you will ever need. The unit is enclosed, so it was perfect for my 2 small dogs.

I didn't like that my stay was so short.

Rene thought about everything for a person visiting her place. Really special place.
