Tom Homestay

Great place to stay during the ha giang loop, the room was very large and comfortable. We also took advantage of a family dinner, which was delicious, during which we could learn some interesting facts about Vietnam.

Tom Homestay is a quiet accomodation if you are doing the loop and need some rest away from the other tours. The place is clean and spacious, beds are super comfortable and the hosts are very kind. They serve food in the place but not sure how it works as I did not use the service. There is a private balcony and also a big one for some fresh air. A/C and fan if you need.

They only have one bathroom for 3 rooms which might become an inconvenient, however nothing serious and at the end there is hot water for everyone.

The private queen room had the biggest and most comfortable bed we have slept on in 3 months of travels throughout Asia. The family was so kind, helpful and welcoming. The family dinner included so many different delicious dishes, highly recommend. The breakfast omlette was also amazing. Bathroom was huge and clean with hot water. This was one of our favorite stays in all of our travels. Stay here you won't regret it!!

Only thing I can say was there is a lot of mosquitoes in the room but it came with a mosquitoe net so we didn't have any issues while sleeping.

Great homestay on the Ha Giang Loop. The hosts are lovely and put a lot of effort in making their guests comfortable. The rooms / shared bathrooms are very spacious and clean and the beds are super comfortable! We really enjoyed the family dinner (100.000 VND) and the breakfast (30.000 VND). Highly recommend this place!

Tom was exceptional! He was such a great host. He speaks great English and is very charismatic and accommodating! His mom cooks the best food for a lovely communal dinner at night with some corn wine. We learned a lot about the local culture and shared so many laughs. The rooms are clean. The beds are really comfortable. It felt like home away from home.

Had the whole 12 bed dorm to just me and one other traveller. Comfy beds, room had a lot of bugs but every bed has a mozzie net which made it a lot easier to sleep!
