Excellent Location, spectacular interior and welcoming host who went out of his way to accommodate us.

It was such a pleasure to stay in a beautiful, elegant and very spacious apartment, which had the added benefit of being within easy reach of restaurants, bars, shops and historical venues. David, the host was extremely helpful and easy to contact.

The apartment is amazing, you feel like you're in an 18th century museum but you can use the furniture.

The listing should be clear in the description that you cannot drive to the apartment and there is no parking. We had trouble getting our luggage back to the parking lot.

If you are staying in Lucca, you must stay at Dimora Leone. The property is spacious and absolutely beautiful. The beds are comfortable and it was nice, being July, to have air conditioning and a washer and a dryer. Dimora Leone is in a quiet area, but very close to restaurants and shopping. Our host, David, was extremely helpful and always easy to contact. He met us at the door, carried in our luggage, and walked us through the apartment. I accidentally left my cell phone in the apartment and he shipped it to our next location.
