AC did not work Room had a musty smell to it, you saw over painted water damage on the walls

-Some of the staff barely speak English, but everyone is very helpful and friendly. Just make sure to communicate things very clearly, so there won‘t be any misunderstandings :) -The rooms are amazing: clean; incredible views of the castle and the Danube river; a window that opens but has a great mosquito net so you can sleep with it open; plenty of towels and personal care products provided; -The area is really calm and quiet: despite there being a rooftop bar on top of the hotel, the rooms are very quiet (apart from the noises of passing-by boats and ships) and thanks to great, dark curtains you can definitely sleep in, too! -Helpful staff: Apart from the manager present on our check-in day who barely spoke any English and didn‘t really try to help us (we wrote to the hotel beforehand to check if we could store our bikes somewhere and despite being told there‘d be a place to store our bikes, the manager only managed to shake his head and send us away), the entire staff was very respectful, attentive and friendly. Massive recommendation, if you‘re looking for a unique accommodation in a quieter area of Bratislava close to the center and with incredible views :)

The TV isn’t oriented towards the bed, which we really didn‘t mind, but might annoy other customers :) There‘s no front desk, so for all future guests: You’ll need to pick up your keycard(s) from the rooftop restaurant. The manager (downstairs seated in the event area) barely spoke any English and unlike his team, didn‘t really try to help us (we were informed we could store our bikes in the hotel somewhere), but we ultimately managed to carry our bikes up to our room and ended up storing them there. This is probably self-explanatory, but bear in mind that this hotel is NOT wheelchair-accessible. You‘ll need to walk up a flight of stairs to access the hotel rooms and the staircase leading up to the rooms is fairly narrow, so beware if you‘re very claustrophobic.

Very nice quite place. Restaurant on the root top was a great bonus. Everyhing was new and nice.

Absolutely beautiful room with a stunning view of Bratislava over the Danube. Refreshing breeze with sliding door open.

Needs more seating on top deck

This is a little different in terms of it is more like a hotel room with ensuite rather than an apartment which is our usual mode of accommodation. However, the location is terrific and the room was perfect for us to relax and while away time watching the activity on the river. We only stayed two nights here and enjoyed the short 15 minute walk across the river to get into the city and wander around the historical sites. The only missing element was the opportunity to make a cup of tea in the morning......but there are plenty of cafes to help there.

Nothing about the room. The taxi driver who ripped us off from the station - cash only at an exorbitant rate - I should have learned from previous experience :( He also dropped us at a parking area some distance from the actual venue. My tip is to get a Bolt or Uber and ask to be taken to the Memorial Chapel. It is a very short walk to the Ponton Rooms.

Great view and very cozy room. Big plus is an amazing bar/restaurant on the top floor.

The only small thing was that our room was missing dark curtains/blinds, but in the end, we didn't mind and sleep conformable till 7:30.
