ITThe hospitality of Elvira is grandiose. She lets you leave the bags while you trek in the canyon, and when you come back you can even shower. We stayed that extra night after the hike as well. Good big breakfast and early? 6.30 am, ideal for trekking. The bed was very comfortable and linen, bedroom and bathroom were hyper clean. Right in front of the plaza. The room is a bit small, not really a place to hang around, you can sit and stay in the terrace.

AUThis was one of the most expensive stays of my time in Peru, and it did not pay off. If you are looking to book ahead there are so few options in town, and for your money you get to be cold and in a rundown building.

They charge more than the booking, the wifi doesn't work, no coffee in the morning (only instant coffee) and no mirror in the bathrooms or rooms

NOISY! Between the trucks and buses on the plaza, the staff going up and down and talking loud no matter what time it is, a broken window and one window communicating with a restaurant downstairs… oh and the constant doors slamming in the building

PLThe bed was really comfy. Our room was at the back and was a bit chilly even in full sun, but there was enough blankets. The hostel has a tiny kitchen on the highest level where they serve breakfast with the view on the main square.
ATThe breakfast included bread, eggs, avocado. Many thanks and beverages to choose from. I also got an extra egg, thanks :) the staff is very helpful and friendly with everything. There is enough hot water in the shower. The location I'd awesome, 3 minutes walking from the bus. The bed was huge and comfortable:)... also the mattress!
It was cold but I think everywhere in Cabanaconde its cold at night. And I had warm blankets.
